Persinger/Zezel won 8-7 against Maureen Stolt/Peter Stolt (St. Paul, USA), then won 6-4 against Shannon Birchard/Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB). Persinger/Zezel went on to lose 6-3 against Alberta's Rachel Homan/John Morris in their final qualifying round match.
