Mei went on to lose 9-8 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Mei lost 6-4 to Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI) where Mei responded with a 7-6 win over Maike Beer (Fuessen, GER). Mei went on to lose 8-7 against Victoria Moiseeva (Kaliningrad, RUS). Mei responded with a 9-6 win over Pia Trulsen (Oslo, NOR). Mei won 8-4 against Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, UK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mei earned 4.505 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Mei did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mei ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
