Sweeting went on to lose 6-3 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA). Sweeting responded with a 7-2 win over Holly Donaldson (Victoria/Vancouver, BC). Sweeting won 5-4 against Geri-Lynn Ramsay (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Sweeting earned 21.921 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 460.001 total points.
