Ontario's Julie Tippin won 7-2 over Ontario's Susan Froud in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 21 - 24, 2017 at the K-W Granite Club in Waterloo, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Julie Tippin won 3-2 over Northern Ontario's Tracy Fleury in the semifinals of the 2017 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-2 over Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Ontario's Julie Tippin finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Julie Tippin defeated Ontario's Jaimee Gardner 7-5, then won 9-7 against Northern Ontario's Tracy Fleury and 6-4 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Unionville, ON). Ontario's Julie Tippin won 5-3 against Grace Francisci (oakville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, Ontario's Julie Tippin earned 29.474 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 7 of the event schedule, Ontario's Julie Tippin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ontario's Julie Tippin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
