Ontario's Julie Tippin won 5-2 over Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON) in the Final of the StuSells Toronto Tankard, held October 5 - 9, 2017 at the High Park Club in Toronto, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Julie Tippin won 6-5 over Northern Ontario's Krista McCarville in the semifinals of the 2017 StuSells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-4 over Jennifer Armstrong (Fredericton, NB) in the quarterfinals.

Ontario's Julie Tippin finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Julie Tippin defeated Eve Belisle (Montreal, QC) 4-2, then won 8-3 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) and 6-5 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Ontario's Julie Tippin won 6-5 against Northern Ontario's Tracy Fleury in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the StuSells Toronto Tankard Championship title, Ontario's Julie Tippin earned 35.629 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Ontario's Julie Tippin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
