Armstrong finished 2-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Armstrong defeated Ontario's Sherry Middaugh 6-5, then went on to lose 7-1 against Ontario's Hollie Duncan. Armstrong responded with a 5-4 win over Jestyn Murphy (Missisauga, ON). Armstrong went on to lose 7-6 against Prince Edward Island's Robyn MacPhee in their final qualifying round match.
