Ashley Quick/Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK) finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Quick/Armstrong lost 9-3 to Kaitlyn Lawes/Ryan Fry (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 9-8 win over Maureen Stolt/Peter Stolt (St. Paul, USA). Quick/Armstrong went on to lose 10-3 against Mackenzie Schwartz/Sam Wills (Lumsden, SK). Quick/Armstrong responded with a 7-5 win over Julia Hunter/Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Quick/Armstrong went on to lose 10-4 against Nicole Westlund Stewart/Tyler Stewart (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
