Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON) won 6-4 over Dayna Deruelle (Kingston, ON) in the Final of the Port Elgin Superspiel, held November 17 - 19, 2017 at the Port Elgin Curling Club in Port Elgin, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Tuck Jr. won 7-6 over Brandon Tippin (Owen Sound, ON) in the semifinals of the 2017 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-0 over Codey Maus (London, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Tuck Jr. finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuck Jr. defeated Matt Glandfield (Toronto, ON) 6-4, then won 6-4 against Tippin and 7-5 against Deruelle in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Port Elgin Superspiel Championship title, Tuck Jr. earned 19.764 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 45th place overall with 141.747 total points. Tuck Jr. ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 59.360 points earned so far this season.
