Kaitlyn Jones (Chester, NS) won 3-2 over Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the New Scotland Clothing Ladies Cashspiel, held October 6 - 9, 2017 at the CFB Halifax CC in Halifax, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 6-4 over Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2017 New Scotland Clothing Ladies Cashspiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada;

Jones finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS) 4-3, then won 8-2 against Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS) and 5-0 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS). Jones won 5-4 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
