Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON) finished 5-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retchless defeated Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) 5-4, then won 5-4 against Codey Maus (London, ON). Retchless went on to lose 7-4 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Retchless responded with a 7-3 win over Richard Krell (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Retchless won 7-4 against Joe Frans (Oakville, ON), then won 7-5 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Dairy Farmers of Ontario Tankard - Qualifier B, Retchless take home 15.400 world rankings points, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 88th place overall with 73.556 total points. Retchless ranks 73rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 49.328 points earned so far this season.
