To advance to the championship game, Brunton won 8-1 over Jacqueline Harrison (Toronto, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2018 StuSells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over Kristen Streifel (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 StuSells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
 
Brunton finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brunton defeated Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) 5-4, then went on to lose 12-4 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). Brunton responded with a 8-3 win over Erica Hopson (Ottawa, ON). Brunton won 7-4 against Ashley Howard (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the StuSells Toronto Tankard Championship title, Brunton earned 38.560 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque. Brunton move up 149 spots after posting a net gain of 38.432 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 83rd overall with 39.712 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
