Hyeri Jang/Chi Won Choi (Uiseong, KOR) finished 1-3 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jang/Choi lost 8-1 to Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, QC), droppimg another game, 5-3 to Kristen Streifel/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) where Jang/Choi responded with a 10-6 win over Ildiko Szekeres/Gyorgy Nagy (Budapest, HUN). Jang/Choi went on to lose 9-5 against Nicole Sigvaldason/Ian McMillan (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 14 of the event schedule, Jang/Choi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jang/Choi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
