Kevin Flewwelling (Strathroy, ON) qualified for the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Charley Thomas (Toronto, ON). of the 2018 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Thunder Bay, Ontario;

Flewwelling finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flewwelling defeated Tanner Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB) 7-6, then went on to lose 8-3 against Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK). Flewwelling responded with a 8-7 win over Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, NONT). Flewwelling won 7-4 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.
