To advance to the championship game, Epping won 9-1 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2019 Meridian Canadian Open in North Battleford, Saskatchewan; and won 6-4 over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Meridian Canadian Open in North Battleford, Saskatchewan;
 
Epping finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK) 8-1, then went on to lose 6-3 against Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). Epping lost 8-4 to Edin where Epping responded with a 4-3 win over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Epping won 5-3 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
