Chelsea Carey (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2019 Meridian Canadian Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-3 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). of the 2019 Meridian Canadian Open in North Battleford, Saskatchewan;

Carey won 7-5 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-2 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
