Einarson finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) 6-4, then went on to lose 5-2 against Hasselborg. Einarson lost 6-4 to Chelsea Carey (Edmotnon, AB). Einarson lost 5-4 to Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) where Einarson responded with a 7-2 win over Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Players' Championship Championship title, Einarson earned 84.279 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque. Einarson move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 58.786 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 472.248 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
