Andrea Crawford (Fredericton, NB) lost 6-4 to Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the Final of the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, held December 7 - 9, 2018 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Crawford won 8-1 over Erica Cluff (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2018 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 10-8 over Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada;

Crawford finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Crawford defeated Marin McLeod (Saint John, NB) 9-3, then won 6-1 against Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB). Crawford went on to lose 6-5 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton , NB). Crawford lost 10-6 to Melissa Morrow (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, Crawford take home 12.036 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 63rd place overall with 70.292 total points. Crawford ranks 62nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 49.933 points earned so far this season.
