To advance to the championship game, St-Georges won 7-4 over Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, USA) in the semifinals of the 2018 Curl Mesabi Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota, United States; and won 7-1 over Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals.
