To advance to the championship game, Stern won 8-0 over Tova Sundberg (Ostersund, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2019 Glynhill Ladies International in Glasgow, Scotland; and won 7-5 over Binia Feltscher (Switzerland, SUI) in the quarterfinals.
 
Stern finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stern defeated Irene Schori (Limmattal, SUI) 8-2, then won 10-2 against Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, JPN) and 7-6 against Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Glynhill Ladies International, Stern take home 26.402 world rankings points along with the $3,490CDN prize. Stern move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 21.01 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 221.181 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
