To advance to the championship game, Muyres won 8-3 over Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Medicine Hat Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals.

Muyres finished 4-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muyres defeated 's Mike Armstrong 8-0, then went on to lose 5-4 against Kody Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Muyres responded with a 4-3 win over 's Jeremy Harty. Muyres won 7-4 against 's Daylan Vavrek. Muyres went on to lose 7-4 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Muyres responded with a 6-2 win over Trevor Funk (Medicine Hat, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Medicine Hat Charity Classic, Muyres take home 25.598 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, Muyres did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Muyres ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
