Telnova/Puzanov went on to lose 8-3 against Maria Ignatenko/Sergei Glukhov (Sochi, RUS). Telnova/Puzanov responded with a 10-7 win over Daria Steksova/Kirill Surovov (Dmitrov, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
