Wenzek went on to lose 7-5 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). Wenzek responded with a 9-3 win over Tyler Klymchuk (New Westminster, BC). Wenzek won 9-5 against Wylie Eden (Kelowna, BC), then won 10-7 against Joanisse in their final qualifying round match.
 
Wenzek earned 7.088 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the BC Mens Curling Championship. For week 25 of the event schedule, Wenzek did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wenzek ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
