Glukhov responded with a 7-1 win over Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN). Glukhov went on to lose 5-3 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Glukhov lost 9-5 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) where Glukhov responded with a 7-4 win over Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). Glukhov went on to lose 12-6 against Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Baden, GER). Glukhov responded with a 8-5 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). Glukhov went on to lose 7-5 against Yuta Matsumura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Glukhov earned 17.216 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 91.253 total points. Glukhov ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 91.253 points earned so far this season.
