Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2019 Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, CAN). of the 2019 Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta;

Mouat finished 8-4 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Sergei Glukhov (Sochi, RUS) 7-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Mouat lost 5-4 to Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). Mouat lost 9-8 to John Shuster (Duluth, USA) where Mouat responded with a 6-5 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Mouat won 7-3 against SooHyuk Kim (Seoul, KOR), then won 8-4 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). Mouat went on to lose 8-6 against Yuta Matsumura (Sapporo, JPN). Mouat responded with a 9-6 win over Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN). Mouat won 8-6 against Koe, then won 9-2 against Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Baden, GER) and 9-5 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Mouat earned 34.432 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship. Mouat gained 12.899 points improving upon their best 8 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 5thplace overall with 368.215 total points. Mouat ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 368.215 points earned so far this season.
