10-9 to Vlada Rumyanceva (Moscow, RUS), droppimg another game, 12-1 to Yu Han (Beijing, CHN) where Sundberg responded with a 9-2 win over Maia Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR). Sundberg won 9-3 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, CAN). Sundberg went on to lose 7-6 against Raphaela Keiser (Flims, SUI). Sundberg responded with a 12-6 win over Ami Enami (Karuizawa, JPN). Sundberg won 10-6 against Cait Flannery (Chaska, USA), then won 7-6 against Lisa Davie (Stirling, SCO). Sundberg went on to lose 12-5 against Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon city, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sundberg earned 8.892 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Sundberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sundberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
