Markowski finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Markowski defeated Negus 11-2, then won 9-0 against Ryan Adamson (Mount Laurel, NJ). Markowski went on to lose 11-8 against Eric Reithel (Woodridge, IL). Markowski responded with a 10-3 win over Zachary Grantham (Austin, TX) in their final qualifying round match.
