Fujisawa finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Mei 9-7, then won 7-4 against Misaki Tanaka (Aomori, JPN) and 8-6 against Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN). Fujisawa won 11-2 against Mizuki Hara (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the ADVICS Cup Championship title, Fujisawa earned 40.219 world rankings points along with the $12,497CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 6th place overall with 346.376 total points. Fujisawa ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 72.796 points earned so far this season.
