Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT) lost 7-3 to Jermu Pollanen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in the Final of the Tallinn Mens International Challenger, held September 27 - 29, 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia. To advance to the championship game, Truksans won 5-3 over Mikkel Krause (Hvidovre, DEN) in the semifinals of the 2019 Tallinn Mens International Challenger in Tallinn, Estonia; and won 9-4 over Lucien Lottenbach (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Tallinn Mens International Challenger in Tallinn, Estonia;

Truksans finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Truksans lost 8-2 to Pollanen, then responded with a 7-4 win over Martin Bukovsky (Prague, CZE). Truksans won 6-5 against Andrin Schnider (St. Gallen, SUI), then won 10-4 against Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.
