Stevens finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stevens defeated Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) 8-6, then won 8-3 against Shea Steele (Halifax, NS) and 6-1 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS). Stevens went on to lose 9-3 against Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Stevens responded with a 8-6 win over Nova Scotia's Blair Pettipas in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Bud Light Men's Cash Spiel Championship title, Stevens earned 15.638 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 87.171 total points.
