Wood/Banyai Reaches 2020 Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship Semifinals

Becca Wood/Shawn Banyai (Denver, CO) run at the 2020 Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-5 loss to Dorottya Palancsa/Zsolt Kiss (Budapest, HUN). of the 2020 Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship in Wingham, Ontario, Canada; Wood/Banyai advanced through the quarterfinals with a 9-7 win over Melissa Adams/Alex Robichaud (Fredericton, NB).

Wood/Banyai finished 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . Wood/Banyai earned 19.299 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 19.298 after improving upon their best so far this season. Wood/Banyai ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.220 points earned so far this season.
