Andrew Symonds (St. John's, NL) qualified for the 2020 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-2 against United States's Rich Ruohonen.

Symonds finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Symonds defeated Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-5 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB). Symonds responded with a 7-3 win over Wayne Fleming (Tempe, AZ). Symonds won 5-4 against Jordan Chandler (Manitoulin, NONT), then won 5-3 against JT Ryan (Winnipeg , MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Symonds earned 14.888 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen.
