Event Information
1. It is the Third Annual Toronto Star Men's Classic Cash Spiel, played the weekend of November 5,6 & 7, 2004.
2. The total prize money is $5000.00 based on 24 teams. We are aggressively trying to get the 24 teams. We have had 16 teams for the last two years.
3. Teams are place into four pools for a round robin, guaranteed three games.
4. The game is 8 ends, normal curling, OCA rules.
5. 16 teams are in the playoffs.
6. Each round robin game is worth $25.00.
7. First prize money will be $1000.00, which includes winning the three round robin games and the playoffs.
8. The playoff money breakdown is based on a percentage; 40%, 30%, 20%, & 10%, starting with A Event.
9. Within the event, the money breakdown is 55% for winner, 25% for finalist & each semi-finalist gets 10%.
10. The entry fee is $220 per team.
