To advance to the championship game, Kean won 6-4 over Todd Birr (Ham Lake, MN) in the semifinals of the 2019 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-1 over Dayna Deruelle (Harrison, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada;
 
Kean finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kean defeated Birr 6-4, then won 5-4 against Robert Wright (Toronto, ON). Kean went on to lose 6-4 against Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT). Kean responded with a 7-1 win over Sam Steep (St. Catherines, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Port Elgin Superspiel Championship title, Kean earned 24.965 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque. Kean move up 13 spots after posting a net gain of 18.453 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 45th overall with 102.323 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Kean ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 63.252 points earned so far this season.
