Fleury finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fleury defeated Sherry Just (Saskatoon, SK) 6-3, then won 6-4 against Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) and 3-2 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
