Perret/Rios finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios defeated Sofia Tkach/Arseniy Meshkovich (Sochi, RUS) 13-1, then won 6-4 against Ekaterina Telnova/Artem Puzanov (Moscow, RUS) and 11-2 against Nina Polikarpova/Kirill Grekhnev (Irkutsk, RUS).
