Kim finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Eun-jin Oh (Jeonbuk, KOR) 7-1, then won 7-6 against Roth and 7-2 against Theresa Cannon (Winnipeg, MB). Kim won 7-5 against Elena Stern (Oberwallis, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the WCT Uiseong International Curling Cup, Kim take home 35.929 world rankings points along with the $16,652CDN prize.
