Hall lost 8-1 to Randie Shen (Taipei City, TPE) where Hall responded with a 10-3 win over Nassar Alyafei (Doha, QAT). Hall went on to lose 7-5 against Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Hall responded with a 19-1 win over Tijani Cole (Lagos, NGR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hall earned 5.891 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 55 spots the World Ranking Standings into 214th place overall with 12.417 total points. Hall ranks 201st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.891 points earned so far this season.
