Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR) won 11-2 over Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, held November 2 - 9, 2019 in Shenzhen, China. To advance to the championship game, Kim won 10-6 over Scott Becker (Naseby, NZL) in the semifinals
 
Kim finished 9-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Nassar Alyafei (Doha, QAT) 16-0, then won 8-6 against Matsumura and 9-1 against Randie Shen (Taipei City, TPE). Kim won 8-2 against Becker, then won 10-5 against Abylay Zhuzbay (Almaty, KAZ) and 24-2 against Tijani Cole (Lagos, NGR). Kim won 15-3 against Jason Chang (Hong Kong, HKG), then won 7-5 against Sean Hall (Melbourne, AUS) and 11-1 against Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships Championship title, Kim earned 29.455 world rankings points, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 27th place overall with 151.540 total points. Kim ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 110.110 points earned so far this season.
