Mancek1-5 at 2019 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event

Irena Mancek (Ljubljana, SLO) finished 1-5 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mancek lost 8-4 to Poland's Marta Szeliga-Frynia, droppimg another game, 10-3 to Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong , HKG). Mancek lost 10-1 to Italy's Veronica Zappone. Mancek lost 13-3 to Sitora Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ). Mancek lost 7-6 to Chinese Taipei's Amanda Chou where Mancek responded with a 6-5 win over Ieva Rudzite (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

Mancek earned 1.105 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.104 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mancek ranks 241st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.104 points earned so far this season.
