Sandrine Morand (Megeve, FRA) finished 5-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morand defeated Veerle Geerinckx (Zemst, BEL) 11-4, then won 10-1 against Karrie Alaqel (Riyadh, KSA) and 6-4 against Iulia Traila (Bucharest, ROU). Morand won 6-4 against Ireland's Alison Fyfe. Morand went on to lose 12-0 against Dilsat Yildiz (Eruzurum, TUR). Morand responded with a 8-1 win over Luciana Barrella (Sao Paolo, BRA) in their final qualifying round match.

Morand earned 8.839 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.84 after improving upon their best so far this season. Morand ranks 122nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.840 points earned so far this season.
