Rudzite3-3 at 2019 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event

Ieva Rudzite (Riga, LAT) finished 3-3 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rudzite defeated Chinese Taipei's Amanda Chou 8-3, then went on to lose 9-5 against Italy's Veronica Zappone. Rudzite responded with a 7-5 win over Sitora Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ). Rudzite won 6-5 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong , HKG). Rudzite went on to lose 7-4 against Poland's Marta Szeliga-Frynia. Rudzite lost 6-5 to Irena Mancek (Ljubljana, SLO) in their final qualifying round match.

Rudzite earned 8.839 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.84 after improving upon their best so far this season. Rudzite ranks 121st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.840 points earned so far this season.
