Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU) finished 1-5 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rykove lost
8-2 to Hye-Ji Jang (Uiseong, KOR), droppimg another game, 8-5 to Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT) where Rykove responded with a 13-4 win over Nigeria's Susana Cole. Rykove went on to lose 8-4 against Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR). Rykove lost 10-5 to Netherlands's Lisenka Bomas. Rykove lost 9-8 to Slovakia's Daniela Matulova in their final qualifying round match.
 
Rykove earned 1.105 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.104 after improving upon their best so far this season. Rykove ranks 179th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.866 points earned so far this season.
