Wark finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wark defeated Diane Gushulak (Vancouver , BC) 7-6, then won 7-4 against Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC) and 8-7 against Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC). Wark went on to lose 8-5 against Brown. Wark responded with a 8-7 win over Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC). Wark won 10-9 against Sarah Daniels (Delta, BC), then won 8-4 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the BC Scotties, Wark take home 9.075 world rankings points.
