In their opening game, Dangerfield defeated Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC) 8-3, then went on to lose 5-4 against Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Dangerfield lost 9-5 to Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) where Dangerfield responded with a 9-5 win over Jackson. Dangerfield went on to lose 12-5 against Tyler Tardi (Surrey, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
