Hiroki Yoshioka (Okayama, JPN) finished 3-5 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshioka defeated Kantaro Kawano (Sapporo, JPN) 8-5, then went on to lose 10-5 against Yuya Takigahira (Nayoro, JPN). Yoshioka responded with a 6-0 win over Kotaro Noguchi (Miyagi, JPN). Yoshioka went on to lose 6-1 against Junpei Kanda (Tokyo, JPN). Yoshioka lost 11-2 to Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN). Yoshioka lost 9-3 to Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi (Karuizawa, JPN). Yoshioka lost 11-2 to Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) where Yoshioka responded with a 10-9 win over Ryutaro Tani (Hokkaido, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Yoshioka earned 4.587 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Yoshioka did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Yoshioka ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
