Matthew McCrady (New Westminster, BC) lost 6-1 to Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC) in the Final of the Torchlight Brewing Classic, held September 24 - 26, 2021 at the Trail Curling Club in Trail, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McCrady won 8-6 over Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2021 Torchlight Brewing Classic in Trail, British Columbia, Canada;

McCrady finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCrady lost 7-6 to Dangerfield, then responded with a 6-5 win over Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC). McCrady won 4-2 against Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC), then won 5-3 against Nobert in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Torchlight Brewing Classic, McCrady take home 11.162 world rankings points along with the $2,800CDN prize, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 81st place overall with 28.975 total points.
