Alexander Eremin (Dmitrov, RUS) won 7-6 over Alexey Timofeev (St. Petersburg, RUS) in the Final of the Russian Curling Cup, held October 8 - 12, 2020 in Dmitrov, Russia. To advance to the championship game, Eremin won 7-6 over Sergei Glukhov (Sochi, RUS) in the semifinals

Eremin finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eremin defeated Andrey Iliin (Moscow, RUS) 7-3, then went on to lose 6-3 against Timofeev. Eremin responded with a 6-4 win over Artem Shmakov (Novosibirsk, RUS). Eremin won 11-4 against Oleg Krasikov (St. Petersburg, RUS), then won 9-3 against German Doronin (Moscow, RUS) and 8-6 against Mikhail Samorukov (Chelyabinsk, RUS). Eremin won 6-0 against Gleb Lyasnikov (St. Petersburg, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
