Eremin won 11-4 against Oleg Krasikov (St. Petersburg, RUS), then won 9-3 against German Doronin (Moscow, RUS) and 8-6 against Mikhail Samorukov (Chelyabinsk, RUS). Eremin won 6-0 against Gleb Lyasnikov (St. Petersburg, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
