Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST) qualified for the 2021 WCT Latvia International Challenger playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Vlada Rumiantseva (Moscow, RUS).

Turmann finished 2-2 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Turmann defeated Asta Vaicekonyte (Vilnius, LTU) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Sarah Mueller (Biel, SUI). Turmann responded with a 7-4 win over Evita Regza (Riga, LAT). Turmann went on to lose 6-3 against Rumiantseva in their final qualifying round match.

Turmann earned 7.641 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WCT Latvia International Challenger, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 84th place overall with 25.538 total points. Turmann ranks 76th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.443 points earned so far this season.
