Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT) qualified for the 2021 WCT Latvia International Challenger playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE). of the 2021 WCT Latvia International Challenger in Tukums, Latvia;

Barone finished 3-2 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barone defeated Britta Sillaots (Tallinn, EST) 6-2, then won 6-5 against Gunta Millere (Riga, LAT). Barone went on to lose 7-4 against Anastasia Babarykina (Saint-Petersburg, RUS). Barone lost 7-4 to Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) where Barone responded with a 7-2 win over Emma Moberg (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
