CHAMPION: Liscumb/Liscumb Wins 2021 Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel

Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) won 9-4 over Melissa Foster/Scott Foster (Burlington , ON) in the Final of the Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel, held November 20 - 21, 2021 at the Ilderton Curling Club in Ilderton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Liscumb/Liscumb won 9-6 over Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck Jr. (Ilderton, ON) in the semifinals

Liscumb/Liscumb finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liscumb/Liscumb defeated Foster/Foster 10-7, then won 12-1 against Hanna Davis/Steve Davis (Mississauga, ON) and 7-2 against Katie Cottrill/Shawn Cottrill (Wingham, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel Championship title, Liscumb/Liscumb earned 23.927 world rankings points along with the $800CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 13.816 after improving upon their best so far this season.
